Allie Waslicki is an Orlando based artist. Through her work she strives to create connections, encourage exploration and share her passion with the next generation.

Experience.

Originally from Wisconsin, Allie has trained in several styles from a young age. She spent her years competing across the country and graduated with her BA in Dance and Minor in Arts Management in 2020. In addition to her degrees, she also received her Pilates Mat Certification, implementing those methods to enhance injury prevention, body awareness and foundational strength in her students.

Since moving to Orlando in summer of 2021, Allie has been performing with SeaWorld Orlando on Sesame Street, was selected as a 2023 NAL dancer with the Orlando Predators football team and is a gig performer with several talent production companies, performing at venues including Disney Spring’s House of Blues, Universal Orlando CityWalk and Harriet’s Orlando Ballet Centre.

When she’s not performing, Allie is on staff at Dance360 Orlando and loves to travel as an adjudicator, guest choreographer and instructor, sharing her passion of dance with the next generation.

    Classes Descriptions:

    Contemporary:

    Exploring a fusion of styles, dancers will begin with a warm up, improvisation activity and finish by learning and performing a combination.

    Improvisation/Composition Techniques:

    Using strategies of impulse, listening, trust, risk-taking, flow and responsibility one will discover how to create real-time creative decision making. Adapting and responding to the environment around them. Through structured improvisation and other activities, dancers will discover how to create their own movement phrases.

    Jazz:

    This class will begin with a warmup including isolations, cardio and stretching in order to properly warm up the body. From there it will move to across the floor progressions focusing on weight shifting, memory and technique. During this class, dancers will also be able to show off their technique and style by learning a jazz combination.

    Technique/Pilates*:

    This fully customizable class is intended to help build strength and gain knowledge wherever your students need it. Utilizing my training in Balanced Body Pilates, this class focuses on proper alignment and strength, breaking down movements and building a solid foundation. Additionally, dancers will learn several exercises to help with pre-class warm up, injury prevention, strength and the repatterining of old habits.

    *Equipment such as yoga blocks, thera bands and weights are highly suggested for this class
